American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Pediatric ICU/Stepdown assignment in Illinois. IL RN license, vent/trach experience, and PALS certification required; 2+ years pediatric ICU care preferred.

Night shifts are 4x12 hours with a 13-week assignment. Floating within scope and 1:3-4 patient ratios apply. Start ASAP; travel pay and housing benefits included.

Local candidates may be considered at the higher traveler pay rate.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license in hand at time of consideration (compact licenses not accepted; IL license can take up to 3 months to issue)
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior 1:4 patient ratio experience required
• Experience caring for ventilated and tracheostomy patients required
• Experience managing gastric tubes required
• Meditech charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients with chronic illness and technology dependence, including ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and adapt to unit requirements
