Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric OR Travel Nurse in Orange, CA for Ambulatory Surgery. The position is travel-based, with a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, and 10-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, pediatric OR familiarity, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Travel nurses will support pediatric procedures, patient assessments, and OR documentation.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience in pediatrics or operating room settings.
• Pediatric Operating Room experience is preferred for travel assignments.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pediatric OR procedures and patient positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia-related status throughout procedures.
• Prepare and document patient history, allergies, and pre-op instructions.
• Ensure proper patient paperwork and post-op care planning.
