Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric OR unit of a children’s hospital.
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours) with start times of 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM.
• Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.
• Shift start times may vary week to week.
• Float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
• Use Epic charting system.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in pediatric OR.
• May be reassigned within 75+ mile radius.
• RTO must be disclosed at submission and approved by manager.
• First-time travelers may be considered if requirements are met.

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Pediatric General OR experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Trauma Level II and community hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Peds CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred
• Two references from most recent employer required for consideration
• Any prior employment history with University of California medical facilities or acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates, units, and manager names

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric OR unit of a children's hospital
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours) with variable start times of 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends
• Shift start times may vary week to week based on department needs
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide perioperative nursing care in a pediatric operating room setting within a teaching hospital environment
• May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75+ mile radius at any time during the assignment if qualified
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit, and married couples may not work on the same unit
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager at time of offer
• No additional RTO requests will be accepted mid-contract
• RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment start date
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
