Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric OR Travel Nurse in Orange, CA. The role focuses on pediatric ambulatory surgery with 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, and travel employment type. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and be prepared for the OR environment.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, intraoperative care, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols. Certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) are required, with additional certs potentially needed.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• RN licensure with relevant pediatric operating room experience.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred for pediatric OR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pediatric operating room procedures and patient positioning.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patient status.
• Provide pre- and post-op care in ambulatory surgical settings.
• Ensure paperwork is complete prior to procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control standards.
