Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Orange, California. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour daytime shifts in the Endoscopy specialty.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS and at least 2 years of acute care RN experience. Pediatric OR travel RN roles involve intraoperative care, patient and family education, and documentation to support safe procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in RN role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and positioning of patient in the OR.
• Manage care of patient in the OR according to hospital policy.
• Ensure all patient paperwork is completed prior to procedure.
• Monitor signs of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia.
• Stay with patient until anesthesia is induced and stable.
