Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Wisconsin. The role requires 2 years of recent med/surg and PCU experience and WI or Compact RN licensure, plus current BLS and ACLS certification. A telemetry exam will be administered prior to start.

Night shifts are 4x12 hours with 1:3–6 patient ratios and potential weekend rotation. Travel-friendly benefits such as housing allowance and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (WI State or Compact).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in med/surg and PCU.
• First-time travelers must have more than 5 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients, occasional ICU/PCU overflow.
• Maintain 1:3–6 patient ratios and monitor cardiac telemetry.
• Use Cerner charting for documentation of care.
• Standby call and float as needed; night shifts 1830–0700.
