American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit travel assignment in North Carolina. Requires 18 months PCU experience, NC or Compact RN license, and NIHSS with BLS/ACLS. Epic EMR experience is required for charting and orders.

Unit features 10 MedSurg beds and 10 PCU beds, with patient ratios of 1:5-6 MedSurg and 1:3-4 PCU, 12-hour night shifts, weekend rotation, no on-call, and mandatory holiday coverage. Free parking and travel-friendly benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 18 months of PCU experience required.
• PCU skillset includes stroke care, rhythm interpretation, airway care, and tubing management.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined MedSurg/PCU unit with 10 MedSurg beds and 10 Progressive beds.
• Care for heart failure, chest pain, stroke rule-out, sepsis, and respiratory/renal issues.
• RN to patient ratio 1:5-6 MedSurg, 1:3-4 PCU.
• Night shift, 12 hours, 7p-7a, 36 hours weekly with alternating weekends.
• Floating to facilities within Region 1 as needed within scope.
