TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse (RN) for a 14‑week assignment in Atlanta, GA. The PCU nurse will monitor patients with close observation and frequent assessments, often handling complex medications.

The role involves 12‑hour shifts and a 36‑hour work week in a fast-paced PCU setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a willingness to perform a range of duties from bedside care to monitoring specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
