Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift in Missouri. Prior stepdown experience and MO or compact RN license are required.

You will work on a 22-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio, supported by PCTs and a health unit coordinator, using MEDITECH EMR. Night schedule is three 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a, with weekend rotations and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous acute Stepdown/PCU experience.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) with 22 beds.
• Patient ratio of 4:1.
• Unit supported by patient care techs and a health unit coordinator.
• Uses MEDITECH EMR.
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a.
• Weekend rotation required.
• 13-week assignment.
• Provide critical care nursing to stepdown-level patients on a 22-bed unit.
• Work alongside patient care techs and a health unit coordinator for support.
