Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for the PCU in Chico, California. This 13-week travel assignment offers a 40-hour work week, days, and 8-hour shifts. You will provide stepdown care, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, CA RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS credentials are advantageous. Travel benefits and support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in CA compliance.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be required or beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, telemetry, and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Document care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure patient safety.
