Qualifications
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
- Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification and ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs and cardiac rhythms; respond to abnormalities.
- Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards, with cardiac focus.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
- Document patient data and communicate clinical status to the team.
- Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
