Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Henderson, Kentucky. You will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with 12-hour day shifts and a competitive travel pay package.

This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance in a supportive clinical team. Required qualifications include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, a current RN license, and active BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety and documents status.
• Responds to life-threatening situations following hospital protocols.
• Provides patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
