Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hazard, KY. The role involves monitoring telemetry, administering cardiac-focused care, and collaborating with the team to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license in Kentucky, and BLS/ACLS. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Excellent communication and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in Kentucky.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac data, responding to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; documents care and responses.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines and regulatory standards.
