Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Henderson, Kentucky seeks a travel nurse RN for the PCU — Progressive Care Unit. This 13-week assignment starts 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

You will work as a travel RN with active license, nursing degree, BLS, and at least 18 months of acute care PCU/Step-down experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, travel reimbursement, and comprehensive credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and signs/symptoms; uses nursing process to plan and evaluate care.
• Collects, analyzes, and documents data and nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the plan of care with nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care as needed.
