Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for PCU in Elizabethtown, KY, offering a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift. The role emphasizes care transitions from ICU to med-surg with telemetry monitoring and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Observe patient conditions and document cardiac status and responses.
• Respond to life-threatening situations following protocols and standards.
• Initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
