Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Morristown, NJ. You will deliver care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, monitor cardiac status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a minimum of one year in stepdown nursing, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Benefits, competitive pay, and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administers medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety on telemetry units.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments.
• Executes education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
