Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Bridgeton, Missouri. This Stepdown RN role requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least one year of Stepdown experience.

Work will be 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with travel benefits and competitive pay. You will monitor telemetry, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
