Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, NC. You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac-focused care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Required RN license, BLS, ACLS, and one year of stepdown experience; PCCN/NIHSS preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care.
• Assist physician during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and monitoring in telemetry units.
• Document assessments and nursing history; communicate status to team.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors; collaborate with team.
