Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Anniston, Alabama. You’ll join a dedicated clinical team delivering specialized cardiac and stepdown care to adults with complex needs.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and offers competitive pay, benefits, and support for travelers. Start date: 10/12/2026; shifts are 12-hour nights with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
• Willingness to travel for 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments and collaborate with the care team.
