Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Atlanta, GA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit on a 13-week assignment starting 10/19/2026. This travel role offers a 12-hour night shift, 48 hours per week, and the chance to work with a dedicated clinical team.

As a Stepdown RN you will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and support patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• PCCN and NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assists physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents assessments and nursing history in the chart.
