Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Thomasville, GA. You will deliver Stepdown care to patients transitioning from ICU, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments
• Aids physician during cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry units
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
