Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Camden, New Jersey.

As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will care for patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough for ICU care, with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience and required certifications.

• BLS
• NIH

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
