Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for Morristown, NJ. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and a 13-week assignment with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The PCU RN will monitor cardiac patients, manage IVs and medications, and work in a fast-paced step-down environment across multiple units. Travel experience and flexibility preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel RN position in Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
