Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Progressive Care Unit travel nurse in Greenville, NC. The PCU RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level care, with emphasis on cardiac and post-acute conditions.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and NIH certification. The role features a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, nights shifts, and travel benefits. TotalMed RN offers a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• ACLS credential required
• BLS required
• NIH (stroke scale) knowledge preferred
• 2 years of recent acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret monitoring equipment; titrate care as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and document patient responses.
• Assist with IVs, catheters, dressings and patient transfers.
