TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in High Point, North Carolina. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers 13 weeks, a 36-hour workweek, and night shifts.

As a PCU Travel Nurse you will monitor patients requiring close observation, manage IVs and medications, and respond to evolving conditions. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic bedside care and stabilization of cardiac patients.
• Understanding of monitoring equipment and interpretation of vital signs.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor adverse reactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
