Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is for a Stepdown RN with night shifts, 12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours per week, with start ASAP.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license in Texas, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN or NIHSS certifications are preferred. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, PTO, and per diem support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in Texas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PCCN and NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Document patient status, assessments, and interventions clearly.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe care.
