Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU Travel Nurse to join Saint Louis, MO area for a 16-week assignment. The RN will cover Progressive Care Unit responsibilities, monitor cardiac vitals, and manage medications during 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced travel role. Travel benefits and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic bedside care skills and vitals monitoring.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
