Job summary

TotalMed RN in Saint Louis, MO seeks a travel nurse RN for a PCU - Progressive Care Unit assignment. This 13-week travel position offers 36 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and document care using patient monitoring systems. Travel nurses enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks in Saint Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and displays.
• Initiate corrective action when adverse symptoms are detected.
