Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on 12-hour night shifts in Winchester, MA. The role focuses on care of step-down patients, titrating pressors, and occasional floating to other units.

Required BLS; ACLS and NIHSS preferred. Epic EHR experience mandatory; travel experience may require Level 1 trauma exposure. Ratios and SOPs guide daily practice.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
• Epic electronic health record experience is mandatory.
• Must be able to titrate pressors.
• Level 1 trauma experience is preferred; if the candidate has no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma experience will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Titrate pressors and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
• Float to various hospital units as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to hospital SOPs and ensure safety and quality of care.
