Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia. The RN will float across PCU, Telemetry, Medical, Surgical, Observation, and Overflow while delivering high-acuity care and interpreting ECG strips.

Schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours weekly. Requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and travel nursing experience; unit staff ratios vary and float rotation may extend to ICU/ER as

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and active clinical credentials.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of RN experience with neuro assessments and basic cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care in PCU across multiple units as needed.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms; manage neuro assessments and cardiac drips.
• Float to ICU or ER as needed based on hospital needs.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ensure patient safety and recovery.
