Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel assignment in Camden, NJ. You will join a team providing specialized stepdown care with telemetry monitoring and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS, with a typical 20-week engagement and 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift. Travel stipends and benefits are included to support your clinical journey.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient and notifies supervisor or physician of cardiac status and response to interventions.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health, factors, and lifestyle.
