Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced unit.

We require 1 year of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. This travel position offers 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and tax-free stipends. Benefits are included as part of TotalMed RN’s travel program.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in progress.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and monitoring equipment.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.
