Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in California. CA RN license and at least 2 years in a recovery room are required, along with BLS/ACLS/PALS and Epic EMR experience.

The role features day shifts, a 4x10 schedule (9:00 AM–7:30 PM), and a fixed Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri pattern with no weekend work. Qualified candidates should expect travel/local rate within a 50-mile radius and be prepared for quick lab work and references.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only).
• Minimum 2 years of recovery room experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Fixed schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with no weekends required.
• Provide recovery room nursing care to post-anesthesia patients.
• Laboratory work and rapid responses as needed during contract.
• Ensure compliance with travel/contract rules and holiday coverage as defined.

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of recovery room experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Fixed schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with no weekends required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide recovery room nursing care to post-anesthesia patients
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
• Holiday coverage applies to New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with holiday periods running from 7:00 PM the night before through 7:00 AM the day after
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff/travelers must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
