American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a PACU RN for our Gynecologic Oncology clinic in Washington. Candidates must hold WA license, have PACU/OR/Oncology experience, and be willing to travel with housing support.

The role offers day shifts, no weekends, travel-rate eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid CEUs. Local candidates considered at local bill rate.

Qualifications

• Active WA license or Compact in hand at submission.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Experience in SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, or Oncology.
• Surgical, oncology, and GYN experience strongly preferred.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Support 4 GYN oncologists, 1 benign GYN surgeon, and 4 APPs in outpatient clinic.
• Clinic handles 30-40 patients daily with 3-6 nurse visits per day.
• Day shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm; 5x8 hours, no weekends.
• No chemo administration or infusion duties in this role.
• Triages by phone/EPIC messaging and provides pre/post-op education.
• Assist with patient education and assessments throughout treatment.
• Travelers may float between sister facilities within the state.

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license required in hand at submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OB/GYN, or Oncology required
• Surgical, oncology, and GYN experience strongly preferred
• Experience with voiding trials and central line/port flushes a plus
• Solely Labor & Delivery experience not accepted for this role
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Gynecologic Oncology clinic setting supporting 4 GYN oncologists, 1 benign GYN surgeon, and 4 APPs
• Clinic sees 30-40 patients daily with 3-6 nurse visits per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, 5x8 hours
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR preferred
• Primary duties include phone and EPIC-based triage, pre/post-operative education, and patient assessments
• No chemo administration or infusion responsibilities in this role
• Perform triage for medication reactions, surgical complications, and symptoms of recurrence via phone and EPIC messaging
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and assessments
• Support patients through their treatment course to ensure safe outcomes
• Low patient volume with high acuity/needs population
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate; local candidates within radius accepted at local bill rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the state
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
