Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a night shift at a Level II Trauma Center in Michigan. Candidates must have 2+ years of PACU experience and an active MI RN license, with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Position features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), potential weekend requirements, and on-call duties with a 1-hour response time. Local travel is considered for within 35 miles of Mount Clemens, MI.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a tertiary teaching hospital
• Supports a surgical department offering general, gynecological, laparoscopic, orthopedic, and lithotripsy procedures
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:0 PM to 7:30 AM
• Varied weekend requirements
• On-call required with a 1-hour response time
• Floating may be required per facility policy
• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center setting
• Hospital serves as a base site for osteopathic medical education and multiple residency and fellowship programs
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers
