Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position requiring MN licensure and 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.

The role features 8-hour day shifts starting at 0700 with occasional 1030 starts, weekend coverage as needed, and no on-call responsibilities. Benefits include competitive pay, housing allowances, travel and licensure reimbursements, and access to CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit-RN required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting caring for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provides family-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• 8-hour day shifts with 0700 starts and occasional 1030 starts.
• Weekend shifts scheduled per unit need.

• May be required to float to a second Children's hospital location as needed.
• Deliver independent nursing care and delegated medical functions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
