Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week academic medical center assignment in the Boston area. An active MA RN license and BLS are required, with travel PACU experience and academic medical center experience.

Primary source license verification is required within 30 days of start. You will work 36 hours per week with 50% day/night rotation and up to two weekend shifts per month, using Epic for charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years RN experience.
• Minimum 1+ years travel PACU experience.
• Minimum 1+ years academic medical center experience.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1+ years of travel PACU experience required
• Minimum 1+ years of academic medical center experience required
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU nursing unit of an academic medical center
• 36 hours per week with 50% day/night rotation
• Up to 2 weekend shifts per month
• Uses Epic for charting
• Provide perianesthesia nursing care within a PACU setting at an academic medical center
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
