Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a PACU/Pre-Op role in Massachusetts. The position requires an active MA RN license and at least 2 years of recent pre-op experience.

Responsibilities include working in a hospital PACU/Pre-Op unit with 10-hour days (6:00 AM–4:30 PM), four days weekly, plus weekend/holiday coverage and on-call shifts. Vaccinations are required unless medical exemptions apply.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 2+ years of recent pre-op experience required.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia/ECG and medication test via Zoom with 85% passing score.
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions only)

• Work in the PACU/Pharmacy unit of a hospital setting.
• Pre-Op position caring for pre-operative and post-anesthesia patients.
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four days per week.
• Weekend and holiday coverage required.
• On-call: one 24-hour weekend shift per month and three night calls per month (11 PM-7 AM).
• 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in a pre-op/PACU setting.
• Biweekly orientation provided.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees must have a 6-month separation break.
• Time off requests over 4 days not approved.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at application.
