Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS/ACLS certification. The role includes a 13-week assignment with a day shift from 07:00 to 17:30 and on-call duties. Local candidates within certain states may be considered.

Travel and licensure reimbursements, a housing allowance, and benefits are provided to support travel nurses in this CVOR role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required for direct patient care.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year CVOR nursing experience required.
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Surgery department setting with focus on cardiovascular OR procedures.
• Day shift schedule 07:00–17:30.
• 13-week assignment length.
• On-call requirement of ~15 shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month.
• One holiday rotation required per contract.
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations.
• Local candidates accepted in select states: CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
