Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Florida. Active RN license in FL or compact/mobile state is required, with at least 1 year of cardiovascular surgery OR/CVOR nursing experience.

AHA/ARC BLS is also required, with no expiration within the first 30 days of start. Position features include 5:30 AM–6:00 PM shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotations, and shared staffing with hospital employees.

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC with no expiration within first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular OR/CVOR nursing
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Operating room setting within the Cardiovascular Surgery specialty
• 13-week assignment with a 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM shift
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required, shared with hospital employees
• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
