Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CVOR RN for a high-volume cardiovascular operating room in Indianapolis. The role requires IN or compact RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 2–3 years of CVOR experience in a busy center.

You will work in a 9-OR facility with 2 hybrid rooms, support adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures, and participate in on-call shifts with a 30-minute response. Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate per the radius policy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license IN or compact required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA).
• Minimum 2-3 years of CVOR experience in a high-volume center required.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.

Responsibilities

• Work in a CVOR unit with 9 OR suites, including 2 hybrid rooms.
• Support adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Facility performs heart transplants, Heartmate III, Impella, and ECMO procedures.
• Da Vinci Robot used for thoracic surgeries.
• Shift schedule of 06:30-17:00.
• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time.
• Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center that also includes a Burn Center and VAD/Transplant Center.
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility.
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date.
