Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with at least 3 years of CVOR circulating experience for a high-acuity cardiovascular surgery program requiring a TX or compact RN license.

Details

Acute care hospital setting in a nationally-recognized Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery program
Cardiovascular Operating Room with 12 suites averaging 20 cases per day
Circulate for a wide range of cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, thoracic and cardiac robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid TEVAR/EVAR/TAVR, Impella, IABP, and ECMO
Work alongside approximately 25 surgeons who regularly operate in the OR
OR tech support available; no charge nurse or house supervisor role
Day shift schedule, 6:45am-3:15pm, Monday through Friday
Facility provides 24/7 in-house coverage with call needs varying by staffing
Weeknight and weekend call required, minimum 1 weekday and 1 full weekend per month, with potential for more
Mandatory call/standby requirement with a 30-minute response time
No floating required
Uses Epic EMR
