Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with ortho, spine, and robotics background for a 13-week MA-licensed assignment.

Position requires 12-hour rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and call as needed; housing assistance offered and travel reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license and active certifications required.
• BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR within a 209-bed hospital with 11 OR suites.
• 12-hour day/evening shifts; 3 shifts/week totaling 36 hours.
• Weekend rotation approximately every 6 weeks; call as needed.
• Holiday coverage for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday.
• Must scrub and circulate; no floating or charge responsibilities.
• One week orientation provided.
• In-house scrubs only during working hours.
• Must reside within 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted.
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6 months before returning within system.
• Vaccinations required: COVID (plus booster) and Flu; medical exemptions allowed.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA
• Strong clinical background in orthopedics, spine, and robotics required
• CNOR certification preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BILH coversheet required at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit within a 209-bed hospital featuring 11 OR suites
• 12-hour rotating day/evening shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), 3 shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Weekend rotation required approximately every 6 weeks as needed
• Call required as needed
• Holiday coverage required for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday as needed
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• One week of orientation provided
• In-house scrubs only during working hours
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• Candidates must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months before returning to any facility within the health system
