Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a 294-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital in North Carolina. The role covers multiple surgical specialties with a 1:1 patient ratio and DaVinci Xi Robot usage.

Requirements include an active NC or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years circulating/OR experience; scrubbing experience is a plus. Shifts are 8 or 10 hours, Monday–Friday, with on-call duties and travel-pay eligibility for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (Standard or Compact).
• Minimum 2 years of circulating and OR experience required.
• Experience scrubbing in on surgical cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting with 6 ORs.
• Circulating RN role covering Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, DaVinci, ENT, and Pediatric Dentistry cases.
• Patient population includes all ages except children under 1 year.
• Patient ratio of 1:1.
• Uses standard OR equipment plus a DaVinci Xi Robot.
• Meditech EHR, experience preferred.
• Schedule is 8 or 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• Call required 4-6 weekdays per month and every 3rd weekend.
• No floating required.
• 294-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited.
• Offers cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services.
• Blue scrubs provided by the hospital.
• No provocative, offensive, or political attire permitted.
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment.
