Pay/Compensation: $66.79 to $68.79 per hour

About the Role

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking Travel Operating Room RNs in Providence. You will support safe, efficient surgical care as a circulating nurse. This 13-week assignment suits an experienced OR nurse who is confident across service lines.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 90 days with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 2
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

Core Responsibilities

• Circulate for surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Complete pre-operative assessments and patient verification
• Maintain sterile fields and aseptic technique throughout cases
• Manage counts, specimens and surgical documentation
• Advocate for patient safety during every procedure
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia and surgical techs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Rhode Island or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulating experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Knowledge of AORN standards and surgical safety practices
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Experience in OB, gynecologic or women's health surgery
• Epic OpTime experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support
