Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a skilled RN Operating Room to join our surgical team in Providence, RI. This 90-day contract position focuses on perioperative/OB care within a fast-paced setting. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, and recent OB/Perioperative OR experience.

The schedule is 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), totaling 36 hours per week, with emphasis on patient safety, sterile technique, and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or Compact RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 1–2+ years of OB/Perioperative OR experience.
• Hands-on experience with C-sections.
• Experience with D&C, D&E procedures.
• Experience with PPTL/postpartum tubal ligation.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative patient care.
• Experience preparing patients for surgery and assisting surgical teams.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

I’m reaching out regarding a contract RN Operating Room opportunity in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a 90-day contract position supporting perioperative/OB surgical services.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Active RN license or applicable Compact RN license


• Current AHA BLS certification


• 1–2+ years of recent OB/Perioperative OR experience


• Hands-on experience with C-sections


• Experience with D&C procedures


• Experience with PPTL/postpartum tubal ligation


• Experience with D&E procedures


• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative patient care


• Experience preparing patients for surgery and assisting surgical teams


• Ability to provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care


• Strong documentation and communication skills


• Flu vaccination required

• CNOR certification is preferred

Education:

• Nursing education leading to an active RN license is required.
