Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a hospital surgical suite assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Requires 2+ years OR nursing experience and Cerner proficiency. Active AZ or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a valid driver’s license are required.

The role features a standard 40-hour week, day shifts 06:30–17:00, and a comprehensive benefits package including housing support, travel/licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in work history
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Social Security Number (full or last 4) and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the OR/Surgery department of a hospital setting
• Standard contract, 40 expected weekly hours
• Day shift schedule, 0630-1700
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Keep requested time off (RTO) to less than 7 days
• Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
