• No prior OR experience required, but nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and use appropriate safety devices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Work in Surgical Services with 15 OR suites and supporting areas.
• RN Circulator focused on Orthopedic surgical cases.
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, five days per week, 40 hours weekly.
• Call required one night per week and every third weekend.
• 13-week contract assignment; may float to other specialties as needed.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practice.

• Work within a Surgical Services department featuring 15 OR suites, including hybrid and cardiothoracic rooms, along with PACU, sterile supply, and pharmacy support areas
• RN Circulator role focused on Orthopedic surgical cases
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly
• Call required one night per week and every third weekend
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must be willing to work in other specialties as needed
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients using evidence-based practice and the nursing process
• Coordinate patient assessments, treatments, and discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Delegate and oversee patient care activities performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures tracking
• Promote a positive, healing environment through professional communication and teamwork
