Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating and endoscopy experience for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment in North Adams, MA.

Requirements include MA RN license, BLS, 3 years OR circulating experience, and Meditech Expanse preferred. Expect 8-hour days, no weekends, and precepting duties with housing and travel support provided.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of profile upload; compact licenses not accepted.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 3 years of current OR circulating experience.
• Endoscopy experience required.
• Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric specialties.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Skills checklist for OR/Circulate current within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit within a teaching hospital setting.
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Float and precept to both the main hospital and an affiliated surgery center as needed.
• No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required if needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Precepting responsibilities included as part of role.
• Facility provides scrubs.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested.
• All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as accommodations after offer will not be approved.
• Traveler must not prefer block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations.
