Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, use Epic for EMR, and participate in on-call shifts. Shared housing arrangements are available; car required for transportation; timekeeping is managed through the standard payroll system.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted.
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
• Primary source verification of license and certifications required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration.
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license.
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Services department in a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule (5x8-hour shifts).
• Variable start times required.
• On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Uses Epic for EMR charting.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting.
• No RTO permitted during the assignment.
• Shared housing arrangements available; no pets or guests allowed.
• Car required for transportation.
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rate.
• Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking (approximately $17-$22 daily) required at Boston locations.
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos.
